Wildfloc Adventures Self Drive Rentals

As you continue your journey with our vehicle, we kindly remind you to adhere to the following terms and conditions:

Vehicle Usage:

1.1. The Renter is responsible for the safe and lawful operation of the vehicle throughout the rental period.

1.2. The vehicle must not be driven by any person other than the Renter, on whose name the booking is confirmed. Unauthorised drivers are not covered by insurance and may lead to the termination of the rental agreement.

1.3. The Renter should not sublet, sell, or assign the vehicle to any third party.

1.4. The vehicles provided are intended for regular road use and are not suitable for off-roading purposes. In the event that we receive any indication or become aware that the vehicle has been used for off-roading, a penalty will be applied, and the corresponding amount will be deducted from the security deposit.

Vehicle Maintenance and Care:

2.1 The Renter must maintain the vehicle’s fluid levels (e.g., engine oil, coolant, brake fluid) and tire pressure during the rental period. If there are any concerns about the vehicle’s performance, the Renter must contact the Rental Company immediately.

2.2. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the vehicle. A cleaning fee will be charged if evidence of smoking is found.

2.3. Pets are not allowed in the vehicle unless otherwise stated and agreed upon with the Rental Company.

2.4 The Renter is required to conduct a thorough inspection of the vehicle for any damages or missing parts before taking possession of the car from our company. Any observed issues must be reported to the booking agent within 12 hours after receiving the vehicle. Should the Renter fail to report damages or missing parts that were noticed during this inspection, the responsibility and cost of any subsequent repairs or replacements will be borne by the Renter. It is essential for the Renter to promptly communicate any concerns to the booking agent to ensure a fair and accurate assessment of the vehicle’s condition.

Fuel and Charging:

3.1. The Renter bears the responsibility of refuelling the vehicle prior to its return at the designated drop-off location. We kindly request the Renter to refuel the vehicle according to the estimated distance to be covered during their journey and ensure that the fuel levels match those at the time of rental handover. Any surplus fuel (gasoline, diesel, electric charge) left in the vehicle will not be eligible for a refund of any charges.

3.2. The vehicle will be provided with a minimum of 15 kilometres worth of fuel (gasoline, diesel, electric charge). Beyond this initial amount, the Renter is responsible for refilling the fuel(gasoline, diesel, electric charge) from the nearest fuel (gasoline, diesel, electric charge) station of their choice.

3.2. For electric vehicles, the Renter must recharge the vehicle using the provided charging cables and follow the instructions for safe charging practices.

Vehicle Return:

4.1. The Renter must return the vehicle at the agreed-upon date and time specified in the rental agreement. Late returns may result in additional charges.

4.2. Before handing over the vehicle, the Renter should remove all personal belongings and ensure the vehicle is in a clean and tidy condition as was handed over to the Renter.

4.3. The Company representative will inspect the vehicle upon its return, and the Renter will be notified of any damages or discrepancies within 24hrs after their booking is completed.

4.4. On the last day of your booking the Renter agrees to drop the car back by 4 PM. 

Damages and Repairs:

5.1. The Renter is liable for any damage to the vehicle during the rental period, beyond normal wear and tear.

5.2. In the event of an accident or damage to the vehicle, the Renter must immediately inform the Company and follow their instructions for reporting the incident.

5.3. The Renter should not undertake any repairs without the prior approval of the Rental Company, as this may void insurance coverage.

Fines, Tolls, and Violations:

6.1. The Renter is responsible for paying any fines, tolls, or traffic violations incurred during the rental period.

6.2. The Rental Company reserves the right to charge the Renter for any fines or penalties related to the use of toll roads, parking violations, or other traffic offences.

Extension or Early Return:

7.1. In the event that the Renter desires to extend the rental period, it is essential to get in touch with a Company representative at least 24 hours before the scheduled booking completion to discuss and finalise the extension arrangements. Kindly note that extensions are subject to vehicle availability, and there may be additional charges associated with the extended rental period.

7.2. No refunds will be provided for early returns or unused rental days.

7.3 The security deposit will be refunded back within 24 hrs after the booking is completed.

7.4 In the event of any damage to the vehicle the repair cost will be deducted from the security deposit.

Indemnification:

8.1. The Renter agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its employees, and affiliates, from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of the Renter’s use of the rented vehicle.

Regulatory Review:

The self-drive vehicle rental business in Kashmir is currently under review by the Regional Transport Office (RTO) of Jammu & Kashmir. By signing this agreement, the renter acknowledges that the vehicle provided does not come under the motor vehicle act and he is taking the vehicle in his own personal capacity and agrees to comply with any changes or directives issued by the RTO during the rental period.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction:

9.1. This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of Srinagar, J&K, India and any disputes arising under or in connection with this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Srinagar, J&K, India.

By continuing to use the self-drive rental vehicle, the Renter confirms their understanding and acceptance of these post-booking terms and conditions. For any inquiries, assistance, or disputes concerning the stated points, we kindly request the Renter to contact the Company’s booking agent within 24 hours. Any disputes raised after this specified time period will not be considered, and the Renter shall be bound by these terms and conditions.
