The most common route is by road from Guwahati, a drive of roughly 9 to 10 hours via Kimin. It is a manageable drive with a pre-arranged vehicle, but the roads can be affected by residual monsoon landslides in late September, so check conditions before you leave. The nearest airport is Itanagar, from which Ziro is a shorter drive.
