Wildfloc Adventures Bike Rentals
Vehicle Usage
- Responsible Operation: I am responsible for the safe and lawful operation of the bike throughout the rental period.
- Authorised Driver: The bike must not be ridden by any person other than myself, whose name is confirmed on the booking. Unauthorised riders are not covered by insurance and may lead to the termination of the rental agreement.
- No Subletting: I will not sublet, sell, or assign the bike to any third party.
- Restricted Use: The bike is intended for regular road use and is not suitable for off-roading purposes. Any indication or awareness of off-road usage will result in a penalty, and the corresponding amount will be deducted from the security deposit.
Vehicle Maintenance and Care
- Fluid Levels and Tire Pressure: I must maintain the bike’s fluid levels (e.g., engine oil, coolant, brake fluid) and tire pressure during the rental period. If there are any concerns about the bike’s performance, I will contact the Rental Company immediately.
- Initial Inspection: I am required to conduct a thorough inspection of the bike for any damages or missing parts before taking possession of the bike. Any observed issues must be reported to the booking agent within 12 hours after receiving the bike. Failure to report damages or missing parts noticed during this inspection will make me responsible for any subsequent repairs or replacements.
Fuel  Â
- Refuelling: I am responsible for refuelling the bike prior to its return at the designated drop-off location. I will refuel the bike according to the estimated distance to be covered during my journey and ensure that the fuel levels match those at the time of rental handover. Any surplus fuel left in the bike will not be eligible for a refund.
- Initial Fuel Provided: The bike will be provided with a minimum of 30 kilometres worth of fuel. Beyond this initial amount, I am responsible for refilling the fuel from the nearest fuel station of my choice.
Vehicle Return
- Return Time: I must return the bike at the agreed-upon date and time specified in the rental agreement. Late returns may result in additional charges
. - Clean Condition: Before handing over the bike, I will remove all personal belongings and ensure the bike is in a clean and tidy condition as was handed over to me.
- Inspection upon Return: A Company representative will inspect the bike upon its return, and I will be notified of any damages or discrepancies within 24 hours after my booking is completed.
- Drop-off Time: On the last day of my booking, I agree to drop the bike back by 4 PM.
Damages and Repairs
- Liability for Damages: I am liable for any damage to the bike during the rental period, beyond normal wear and tear, including punctures.
Responsibility for Punctures: Any punctures incurred during the rental period must be repaired by me, the renter, at my own expense. - Reporting Incidents: In the event of an accident or damage to the bike, including punctures, I must immediately inform the Company and follow their instructions for reporting the incident.
- Approval for Repairs: I should not undertake any repairs without the prior approval of the Rental Company, as this may void insurance coverage.
Fines, Tolls, and Violations
- Responsibility for Fines: I am responsible for paying any fines, tolls, or traffic violations incurred during the rental period.
- Charging for Penalties: The Rental Company reserves the right to charge me for any fines or penalties related to the use of toll roads, parking violations, or other traffic offences.
Extension or Early Return
- Extending Rental Period: In the event that I desire to extend the rental period, I will get contact with a Company representative at least 24 hours before the scheduled booking completion to discuss and finalise the extension arrangements. Extensions are subject to bike availability, and there may be additional charges associated with the extended rental period.
- No Refunds for Early Returns: No refunds will be provided for early returns or unused rental days.
- Security Deposit Refund:
The security deposit will be refunded back within 24 hours after the booking is completed. - Deduction for Damages: In the event of any damage to the bike, including punctures, the repair cost will be deducted from the security deposit.
Indemnification
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its employees, and affiliates from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of my use of the rented bike.
Regulatory Review
I acknowledge that the self-drive bike rental business in Kashmir is currently under review by the Regional Transport Office (RTO) of Jammu & Kashmir. By signing this agreement, I acknowledge that the bike provided does not come under the motor vehicle act, and I am taking the bike in my own personal capacity and agree to comply with any changes or directives issued by the RTO during the rental period.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of Srinagar, J&K, India and any disputes arising under or in connection with this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Srinagar, J&K, India.
By signing below, I confirm my understanding and acceptance of these self-declaration terms and conditions for bike rental through Wildfloc Adventures. For any inquiries, assistance, or disputes concerning the stated points, I will contact the Company’s booking agent within 24 hours. Any disputes raised after this specified time period will not be considered, and I shall be bound by these terms and conditions.
